Transparent Corrections
Corrections & Factual Updates Policy
Our commitment to acknowledging errors openly and correcting them clearly
We strive for complete accuracy in every story we publish. However, journalism is done in real time and honest mistakes can happen. When an error occurs—whether a misspelled name, an incorrect date, or a factual misunderstanding—we do not quietly edit it away or delete the post. We acknowledge it openly and correct it promptly.
How We Handle Corrections
- Substantive Corrections: When a key fact, number, or quote is corrected, an editorial notice is appended with the timestamp explaining what was corrected and why.
- Developing News Updates: As events unfold, new verified information is integrated and the page header reflects the latest updated timestamp.
- Typographical Fixes: Minor spelling or grammatical edits that do not alter meaning are made immediately without formal editorial notices.
How to Report an Error
If you believe a story on HamroBuzz contains a factual error or misrepresentation, please let our editorial team know right away with any supporting documentation.
